We create wines at a still small but rapidly progressing winery in a rather picturesque area of ​​Chernihiv region, where our vineyard is washed by the beautiful river Desna on two sides, and on the third - a blossoming orchard of apples, peaches, pears and other fruit trees.
But wait, that's not all the charm of the moment...
 
In 2015, on a sandy slope in the bay of the Desna River, on the outskirts of the city - the hero of Chernihiv, there could have been an apple orchard. But, despite all the refusals of professors and experts, despite doubts, Borys Slaboshevsky - winemaker and founder of VINOMAN, nevertheless planted a vineyard on a small plot of 1 ha in the backyard. Sandstone soils.
This became the starting point for the birth of the first Northern winery of Ukraine - VINOMAN, although Boris's first attempts to make wine started in 2011.
 
 Boris grows such European grape varieties as: Pinot Noir, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Bianca, Traminer. A little later, they also connected a vineyard from the Southern site. Up to 10,000 bottles are produced each year.
In 2020, the VINOMAN winery received a license and officially appeared on the shelves of specialized alcohol markets in Ukraine.
High-quality grapes, barriques made of rocky oak, exquisite dressing of ready-made wine, manual labor and daily and conscientious care - this is real magic that does not leave anyone indifferent. 

 A characteristic feature of the appearance of the bottle are unique illustrations codenamed "beetles", which were inspired by the childhood hobby of the winemaker's daughter - collecting insects and beetles in epoxy resin from the weekly magazine "zero". 
You will ask, why a vineyard, why a winery? And there is no correct answer, just once, Boris - an engineer - technologist of the food industry by education and a person who has been growing sturgeons in the Chernihiv region for 20 years, tasted a certain bottle of wine, a certain vintage of a well-known winery in the whole world, got excited and understood what he wanted create your own wines according to "your own recipe". This is the call of the heart and a portion of risk under the sauce of adventurism and nothing more :)

VINOMAN is a small team that may be the first to write the winemaking history of the "non-winemaking" region of Chernihiv region, this is a bottle of wine - in which there is a maximum of soul, love and manual labor.
